Gilbert Schintgen Gilbert Schintgen is responsible for conducting the business of UBS Fund Management (Luxembourg) S.A, the company managing the Luxembourg domiciled investment funds designed and launched by UBS Asset Management. In this capacity he is responsible for identifying, assessing and monitoring risks to which the company and the managed investment funds could be exposed and to ensure adequate controls are in place. Gilbert joined UBS in 1995 and was appointed head of the Management Services department in 1999, covering legal services, corporate accounting and financial control, human resources and product control. He has been a member of the Executive Management Board of UBS Fund Services (Luxembourg) S.A. since 1999, and a Board member of the Luxembourg domiciled UBS Funds since 2001. He was appointed to his current role in July 2010. Prior to joining UBS he had 15 years of experience at Banque Générale du Luxembourg S.A. where he had responsibilities in both the investment banking and investment funds departments.
