Julie Patterson Julie leads on regulatory change in asset management and funds within KPMG’s EMA Regulatory Centre of Excellence, providing thought leadership and analysis of regulatory proposals and priorities.  She is also global sector lead on Brexit.  Before joining KPMG, she worked at the UK Investment Association, expanding the regulatory function to cover segregated mandates, capital requirements and asset management operations.  She then focussed on all aspects of investment funds – product regulation, distribution, fund administration, financial reporting, tax and legal. She has a broad knowledge of the European fund and distribution landscape, and chairs EFAMA’s Distribution and Investor Protection Working Group.
