Alan Picone Alan joined Duff & Phelps in 2013 as a Managing Director heading-up the Global Risk Consulting Practice and the Group’s Management Company platform operations. Originally grown as a quantitative modelling expert, Alan has since them developed a qualitative, holistic and cross-sectional command of risk management matters. He now sits on various Boards and is an influential subject-matter expert who advises financial institutions how to best navigate regulatory requirements and increasing challenges in risk management. Alan previously headed Risk Units in various financial institutions and consulting practices. Alan holds a PhD in theoretical physics, and is graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris.
