Nasir is CEO of The LHoFT – The Luxembourg House of Financial Technology, a public/private sector initiative to drive fintech innovation in Luxembourg. He is also a Non-Executive BoardDirector of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) S.A. Nasir has worked in Financial Services for 20 years. He spent 13 years working within Capital Markets at RBS, ICAP, HSBC and EBS. He has been immersed in the Fintech and startup sector for the past six years. As an entrepreneur, Nasir has built multiple Fintech businesses across verticals. He has advised the boards of leading financial institutions, central banks and governments. Nasir is included in the “Top 40 innovators shaping the future of financial services -2014” by The Wall Street Journal/Financial News. Nasir has a BSc from the London School of Economics and is a Sloan Fellow from London Business School.
Martin Dobbins, a former CEO for European and Luxembourg Banks, acts as an independent director and FinTech advisor and has over 30 years of international experience in the financial industry. Martin is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in financial management, treasury, regulations, acquisitions, client integration and new business development. His specialist knowledge is in compliance, risk, and operations for UCITS and Alternatives structures. He has led the design and development of number of successful regulatory and financial applications. Before joining TRINOVA, Martin was the CEO & Country Head for State Street Bank Luxembourg and chaired the country executive group. He was the lead executive to the European Central Bank’s Joint Supervisory Team. Until 2007 was the EMEA Regional Director for State Street Europe responsible for the transformation strategy & outsourcing. Martin was the first COO for State Street Bank Luxembourg with responsibility for the Luxembourg and Belgium groups. He was the Director of Operations & Technology and a member of the executive board for State Street GmbH in Munich, Germany. He began his career in Boston, Massachusetts for State Street Corp. in the Mutual Funds and Institutional business groups and then in the Technology Development group. He has had assignments in Boston, Sydney, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Munich, London and Luxembourg. Martin holds a BS/BA in Finance & Banking and an Executive MBA from Suffolk University, Boston, MA USA. He recently completed a certification program in Strategy & Innovation from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, Cambridge MA USA. He has held a number of board and committee chair positions in ALFI (Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry) and ABBL (Luxembourg Bankers Association) and is well known in the industry as Chairperson for the Luxembourg Depository Banks representing the Luxembourg financial service industry at the European level on regulatory matters. Martin is currently on the AMCHAM Luxembourg Senior Advisory Board, ALFI- Alternative Committee and AML Data Management Steering Committee.
Chuck Gallant has over 30 of experience in the investment industry with BNY Mellon. He currently works in Asset Servicing Product Management, responsible for overseeing the product capabilities and development for many of our strategic digital products and services, including our web / mobile self-service technologies, process optimization and automation products, and digital and data delivery tools. Chuck has served as Chief Information and Technology Officer in former roles and has held numerous strategic business and technology positions in the areas of digital transformation, portals, data delivery, business process automation, and other customer-facing technologies. Chuck earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management Information Systems from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, and holds a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston University. Chuck is also a co-chair for the NICSA Technology Committee.
