This seminar is reserved to ALFI/ABBL members only.

6 months after the launch of Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect (Shenzhen Connect), ALFI and ABBL are delighted to invite you to attend a lunch session to take stock of the different current access routes to China and to give an outlook on what comes next.

Along with the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect launched in November 2014, the Shenzhen scheme marked a new era for foreign investors, who could previously access Mainland exchange by obtaining individual licences and quotas. In May 2017, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) announced its plans to introduce a Real-time Delivery versus Payment (RDvP) enhancement to Stock Connect and the intention to establish/launch Bond Connect.

ABBL and ALFI will share with their members the most recent state of play in Luxembourg and the key findings on Stock Connect. The panelists will discuss how the funds’ legal documentation could be adapted to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
