As CIO Multi Asset and Fixed Income Frank is in charge for Union’s overall multi asset-, fixed income- and fx-strategy. Furthermore Frank serves as a member of the Board of Managing Directors of Union Investment Privatfonds GmbH and as one of seven voting members of the Union Investment Committee. The Union Investment Committee formulates Union Investment’s capital market strategy on a monthly basis, thereby setting out a framework for the tactical management of the funds by individual portfolio managers. He previously held managerial positions at Barclays Capital and Thames River Capital LLP. Prior to this he worked at the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund as Senior Economist and Economist, respectively. Frank started his professional career at SwissRe after finishing his Ph.D in international economics at WHU Otto Beisheim Management School in Vallendar, Germany.
