Manuela has nearly 30 years of experience in the international banking and investment management industry, including over 20 years in management roles, always focused on her strength: client relationship and distribution. Her career began in 1989 at HypoBank (now Unicredit) in Germany where she served in client services, sales and management roles. In 2001 she moved into investment management, when she was asked to join the fund distribution unit of Foreign & Colonial (now BMO) in London. Until 2010 she was responsible for various teams covering distribution, marketing & PR, client services, institutional client solutions before heading up the global wholesale business. Manuela joined Luxembourg Management Company Alceda in 2011 to develop their 3rd party distribution business initially from their London office, before relocating to their Frankfurt and Luxembourg base. Since March 2017 she has led the business development department for LRI Group before becoming Head of Capital Introduction & Distribution in 2019.
