Event overview
The ALFI Global Distribution Conference, now in its 27th edition, is designed as a unique platform to enable participants from all over the world to share knowledge and exchange experiences on major trends and opportunities in global fund distribution. The Conference enjoys a secure place in the diary of many fund industry professionals, including asset managers, distributors, fund administrators and service providers and, of course, investors.
The 2018 event promises to be unique as it marks not only the 30th birthday of the implementation of the UCITS directive, but also the 30th birthday of ALFI.
A true distributor-centric conference which no-one involved in distribution should miss, this year’s gathering will deliver an innovative and unique programme. The two-day programme will present insightful and thought provoking subjects for discussion on the latest key issues in the global fund distribution space, primarily focusing on the views and priorities of the fund distributors themselves.
We expect more than 650 delegates and speakers from Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific and Africa and up to 35 exhibitors showcasing their products and solutions serving the asset management industry.
ALFI’s annual Golf Tournament takes place on 24 September 2018 and gets the ball rolling for the ALFI Global Distribution Conference.
The tournament is a great opportunity to showcase your company to about 120 participants and ALFI members in a relaxed environment with plenty of networking opportunities.

ALFI 30th birthday celebration
This year, ALFI is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Over the last three decades, the local fund industry has developed the know-how and infrastructure that make Luxembourg the leading global fund distribution hub.
