Tarik Ramirez, Sura Investment Management Mexico

Tarik Ramirez Tarik has over 17 years of experience in the Investment management Industry. He started his career as a Research Analyst at Citigroup-Banamex, writing investment strategy comments for the banks main research publications. He also worked at UBS in NY as the person in charge of developing and executing the investment process to manage a $1.5B book of institutional and private clients. He then worked at two of the largest and most prestigious family offices in Mexico, where he headed the Asset Management divisions. Tarik started his career at Sura IM as the CIO for the Mexico´s operation. Currently, he is Product Specialist and Head of International Distribution. He is responsible of the communication and global distribution efforts for the firm´s strategies. He holds a BA in Economics from ITAM in Mexico, an MBA from Yale University, and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst from the CAIA Association.
