Rafael Aguilera Rafael Aguilera is an Executive Director at EY. He has more than 15 years experience in the asset management industry within the areas of product development, registration and multichannel distribution of investment funds on a cross-border basis. Rafael joined EY in 2012 from a 'Big Four' consulting firm where he held for 6 years a Directors’ role within their Regulatory Consulting department. Prior to this role Rafael worked for 4 years at Fortis Investment Luxembourg as Senior Legal Advisor and 2 years at ING Investment Management Brussels as Legal and Compliance Officer. Rafael has developed a solid background in all regulatory matters related to fund registration and distribution.  Rafael is nominated expert from ALFI on cross-border Asset Management initiatives. He is also a member of numerous ALFI and EFAMA working groups. Rafael is fluent in French, Dutch, English and Spanish and completed his law degree at the VUB and masters in Finance and Corporate Finance at the KUL Business School, in Belgium
