Paul became a Principal in 2012. He specialises in deal structuring and execution. Paul is a member of the Financing Group and the Deal Structuring Group. He has worked on numerous transactions including Allegro Group, Althea, Dr. Martens, the acquisition of Findus Italy by Iglo Group, Genesys, Just, Magento, NDS, OdigeO (the merger of eDreams with Go Voyages and Opodo), Provimi, Sushiro, Teraco, Tilney and Tricor.

Prior to joining Permira, Paul practised law for nine years, specialising in private equity transactions at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson and, before that, at Ashurst.
