Nicolas Buck is the CEO and co-founder of SEQVOIA, a leading RegTech that uses fund and regulatory insight coupled with cutting edge technology to help fund managers produce and distribute their regulatory fund documents seamlessly. He’s been involved in the asset management industry at several levels throughout his career which gives him a broad understanding of the challenges facing this business. He’s the chairman of BLI, an asset management company offering fund and portfolio management services to institutional and private clients and he sits on various boards in the banking sector and private financial companies. He is also the chairman of FEDIL (The Voice of Luxembourg’s Industry), as well as chairman of nyuko, an independent nonprofit supporting entrepreneurs, in collaboration with the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. A serial entrepreneur, he is known for his passion for driving change – fast ! In 2004, he was awarded Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year distinction at age 34 and in 2016 recognised as one of the Top 5 influencers for entrepreneurship and business creation in Luxembourg. A graduate in economics from the University of Bath, he also holds an economics engineer degree from the Hochschule für Druck und Medien in Stuttgart.
