
Michael Ferguson has over 30 years of experience advising and supporting complex international financial services businesses with a specific focus on the leading global asset managers and their service providers. His areas of expertise include product structuring, distribution, compliance, corporate governance, sustainable finance and ESG. In addition, he has over 20 years of experience working with global policymakers and international professional associations in developing and shaping asset management policy and regulation. Michael was the EY EMEIA Wealth & Asset Management Assurance Leader responsible for leading a team of professionals across 15 jurisdictions in developing and delivering audit and related services to an international clientele and he was also the EY Luxembourg Wealth & Asset Management Leader responsible for a team developing and delivering audit, tax and consulting services to an international clientele. Michael is a registered Chartered Accountant in the UK and Ireland. Michael was a member of the Board of Directors of ALFI, Vice-Chairman of ALFI and member of ALFI’s Executive Committee. He is a regular speaker and moderator at various international asset management conferences.
