
Ashley is based in London where he has 17 years experience advising clients in fund investments, including 11 years exclusively focused on institutional unlisted real estate vehicles. He has a strong track record in secondary market advisory, fund and JV structuring and restructuring, capital raising as well as buyside advisory.
Ashley was formerly a director at JLL Corporate Finance for 9 years, where he ran the UK Private Funds Advisory Team, joining from Cushman and Wakefield after 2 years in their Indirect Investment team. Prior to that, Ashley spent 5 years working in New York for Guggenheim Asset Management working with hedge and private equity funds.
Ashley has overseen over €4bn of transactions including secondary market acquisitions and sales, capital raises and fund restructuring. He has also advised on over €2bn in fund acquisitions, fund restructures, fund pricing and portfolio monitoring roles.
Ashley holds an MA in Property Valuation and Law from Cass Business School, City University and a BSc in Management from Lancaster University. He is an IPF Member and sits on the INREV Secondary Market Committee.
