Joaquín Ruiz

Joaquín has been with EIF since 2008, where he has invested > EUR 1.3bn in VC, buyouts, growth and credit (mezzanine and direct lending) funds / deals through primaries, co-investments and secondaries. Since 2016, he has led EIFs secondaries activities having closed 17 transactions, and is now raising its second secondaries programme open to private investors. Previously at PwC in Luxembourg and Levy Gee in Madrid. Holds a Degree in Law from Nebrija University (Madrid) and a MBA from IE Business School (Madrid-Shanghai). Regular speaker at SuperReturn, Super-Investor and PEI conferences across Europe. Fluent in Spanish, French and English.
