Stuart Lawson, Northern Trust

Stuart Lawson Stuart is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants and has an honours degree in Social and Environmental Studies. He joined Northern Trust in 1988 working in Fund Administration and Trust client accounting before being appointed Head of Finance for the office in 1996 where he established a Risk Management Department with responsibility for risk across a number of locations in Europe including a treasury dealing team based in Guernsey. In 2005 he was appointed Chief Administration Officer for Guernsey with local responsibility for finance, risk, compliance, corporate services and communication, and in 2007 was appointed head of Real Estate and Infrastructure Fund Administration services across the EMEA region. He is currently a Product Manager involved in developing alternative asset solutions across the EMEA region, is a Director of a number of client entities based in the Channel islands and is Chairman of Northern Trust (Guernsey) Limited.
