Stefanie Ott

Stefanie Ott is Head Group Operational Risk Management & Risk Governance at Swiss Re. She has the group-wide responsibility for operational risk topics and risk culture with global teams of operational risk managers and risk governance experts. She is currently on international assignment as General Manager Swiss Re Luxemburg.
Prior to joining Swiss Re, Stefanie Ott was CRO of Generali in Switzerland. She started with Generali in 2014 leading the Internal Audit function. Prior to joining Generali, she spent over 16 years with Deloitte in audit and consulting in the US, UK and Switzerland. Between 2016 and 2018, she represented the insurance industry on the board of the Institute of Internal Auditors (Swiss chapter). Stefanie Ott holds a Masters in Finance from the University of Geneva and is a Certified Public Accountant in US and Switzerland.
