Gert-jan Meerkerk

Gert-jan Meerkerk is first vice president of Prologis, portfolio manager AIFM, responsible for PELF (Prologis European Logistics Fund, “PELF”) and serves as a board member of the management company of PELF (AUM: 13 billion). He also oversees Luxembourg regulation matters, depositary relationships and the other Luxembourg operations of Prologis’ European business. Previous responsibilities at Prologis include the European lead in Prologis’ Integrated Global Platform project, European fund controller and finance director for Northern Europe.

Prior to joining Prologis in 2000, he was interim manager for Arthur Andersen in the Netherlands and later on for KPN. Overall Mr. Meerkerk has 27 years of experience in finance, accounting and fund management, of which 20 have been spent in the real estate industry.

Mr. Meerkerk completed his studies in Rotterdam.
